Notably, on June 15th, MedCerts launched a beginner-level Specialization program on Coursera, focusing on Medical Billing and Coding. This program will be accessible to Coursera's vast community of over 124 million registered learners globally. Comprising multiple courses, the Specialization will encompass MedCerts' 12 Elements of eLearning and is designed in a user-friendly and easily accessible format. It can be completed in a few weeks. This course launch is the first among many MedCerts Specializations planned to be offered through this partnership.

Rafael Castañeda, SVP of Strategic Partnerships & Workforce Development at MedCerts, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and was quoted saying that teaming up with Coursera will provide the firm a global reach, expanding their visibility significantly. MedCerts will share the healthcare expertise and enable Coursera in offering an affordable & accessible catalog of healthcare Specializations, generating interest in the allied health field amongst the global learners.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, healthcare occupations are expected to experience a 13% growth from 2021 to 2031. This collaboration between MedCerts and Coursera will provide individuals with a convenient option to explore their interests in the healthcare industry, catering to diverse needs & interests.
