Hai Robotics, a prominent global provider of autonomous case-handling robot (ACR) systems, reportedly announced its participation in the United Nations Global Compact initiative, recognized as the world's largest voluntary corporate sustainability endeavor.

The company will be a part of a vast consortium of organizations hailing from 160 nations, all dedicated to the pursuit of responsible corporate actions that contribute to the establishment of a more sustainable and inclusive society.

Aligning with the initiative, Hai Robotics pledged its commitment to upholding the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and actively supporting the United Nations in the attainment of its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The firm will regularly present a Communication on Progress, underscoring its ongoing dedication to these principles.

For the record, the UN Global Compact boasts a membership exceeding 15,000 companies and 3,800 non-business signatories from over 160 nations, in addition to more than 69 Local Networks. The Sustainable Development Goals encompass 17 overarching objectives aimed at addressing societal issues and enhancing overall quality of life by 2030, encompassing five crucial areas: people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership.

Meanwhile, Hai Robotics actively engages in minimizing its environmental impact through the adoption of sustainable business practices and production techniques. The company rigorously implements sustainability measures throughout its supply chain, including the use of composite wood in packaging. With this new commitment, Hai Robotics will meticulously assess its ongoing ESG initiatives and extend support to its clients to ensure alignment with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, thereby fostering a positive societal impact.

Richie Chen, Founder and CEO of Hai Robotics, reportedly highlighted that the company firmly regards sustainability a vital driver for long-term growth and resilience, hence was ready to assume the role of a responsible corporate entity. He expressed enthusiasm about getting associated with the UN Global Compact and added that integrating ESG considerations into strategic approach will favor the company’s sustainability endeavors, particularly in warehouse automation solutions.
