Here Technologies and Loqate have recently announced a partnership to be able to deliver businesses the most recent address capture, geocode and validation technology. Businesses in industries need verified address data for everyday operations, especially the ones in transportation & logistics, healthcare, retail and financial services.

Loqate has been integrating the geocoder, routing algorithms and HERE map data into the largely used verification software and address capture. The expanded partnership will help businesses create solutions they require to optimize the delivery of services, customer engagement and the products.

Loaqate’s Senior Vice President and Commercial Director, Justin Duling said that deepening the company’s partnership with HERE, the experts working in location data and international mapping lets the company deliver solutions that are market-leading and helps the company get closer to its partner and customers.

The company is looking forward to growing the collaboration with HERE to be able to answer future cases for location data from its customers as well as partners.

Reportedly, the digital conversion of various postal addresses into both longitude and latitude points on a map, which is called geocoding has become an important tool for daily commerce. With the increasing digitization of customer journeys, location data shall be a foundational trait in delivering excellent experiences.

HERE Technologies’ retail & Financial Services Head, Jason Bettinger said that on a global level, millions of addresses are recorded daily or even read by the computers and people, most of which need validation for accuracy and completeness. 

Bettinger further added that the company is looking forward to expanding its current partnership with Loqate as there is a clear combination of superior class location technology to make sure that businesses have been working only with an enriched and validated location data for the customer and internal needs.

Apparently, the HERE map involves various layers of data like the administrative and the postal boundaries, road networks, transport systems, addresses and even points of interest.
