One of the largest privately held transportation companies, CSRT International, Inc., has reportedly announced the acquisition of Edison based final mile logistics provider, NAL Group. However, the financial terms of transaction have not been disclosed yet
For the uninitiated, the NAL Group specializes in home delivery, warehousing services, and express courier services to high profile retailers. The company has spread its services to the United States and Canada.
According to the reliable reports, the NAL Group acquisition would support CSRT’s strategic growth plan of future, thereby augmenting its position in the global market. It would further offer significant benefits to the customers of both the companies and provide rewarding career opportunities for the employees in the expanding CSRT enterprise.
Speaking on the acquisition, the President and CEO of CSRT International, Hugh Ekberg, commented that the acquisition of NAL Group adds to CSRT’s service offerings – via an expertise in final mile logistics and complicated in-home installation and assembly services. The company is delighted to join hands with Matt Riordan and his team at the NAL Group and is looking forward to improving its capacity and capability in the strategic growth market segment.
Mr. Ekberg further added that the acquisition of NAL Group would enable CSRT to get complex assembly market with current company customer as well as with an expanded customer base in Canada and the United States.
On the other hand, the ex-President and CEO if NAL Group, Mat Riordan cited that the team looks forward to joining the expanding team of CSRT International. He added that with NAL’s worthy reputation and robust service offerings would enable the company to deliver a wider range of services to its customers globally.
