International Data Corporation (IDC) has recently announced its partnership with Saudi Arabia’s CST (Communications, Space and Technology) Commission for the annual ICT Indicators Forum, 2023. The forum is set to take place at the Four Season’s Hotel in Riyadh on 8^th March 2023.

The strategic forum incorporates IDC Directions 2023 Saudi Arabia as part of its agenda. The program will include a number of events with various experts, including top officials from ICT-enabling public sector entities, telecom representatives, and many other higher authorities in the lineup of speakers. The representatives will hold presentations, panel discussions, and share real-life use cases to provide insight into the current situation in the market. It will also show the journey of Saudi Arabia toward becoming a digital economy, focusing on the support being extended by the government to achieve the same in the form of digital transformation initiatives across various economic sectors of the Kingdom.

Associate Vice President of IDC for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Hamza Naqshbandi, has expressed that the government of Saudi Arabia has been striving to bring digital transformation and this partnership is evidence of the same. Further, implementation of these digital services will be a priority of the government as part of its Vision 2030 target, to help boost the Kingdom’s economy, he continued. IDC Directions has long been serving as a platform to help ICT executives across Saudi Arabia to converge and discover IDC’s predictions and outlook for the technology markets.

The ICT Indicators Forum 2023 will examine the progress made in digital infrastructure efficiency in Saudi Arabia. It will also focus on the emerging trends which will share the future of the ICT ecosystem in the region, and present findings from the latest Saudi Internet report, including statistics pertaining to the infrastructure and usage of the internet in the nation.
